At this point, it’s worthwhile us taking a moment to think about what the rest of the course entails. In Part 2, our next stop, we turn our attention to techniques teachers can use to help students critique and assess information. This core feature of technological literacy is complemented by Part 3, where we look at some of the different ways teachers can give learners opportunities to use technology in the classroom. In Part 4, we examine how teachers can help students to explore different information sources, including through three key, exemplar strategies. After that, in Part 5, we think in a variety of ways about how we can help students to explore the relationship between technology, the individual and society. Finally, in Part 6, we look at some of the positive ways mobile phones can be used in the classroom, bringing the benefits of technology to bear on student learning.
