At this point, it is worth taking a moment or two to think about what lies ahead, before we move on. In Parts 2 and 3, we’ll look at what effective peer observation entails and how you can establish a framework for using it in your school. Parts 4-6 focus on the core elements of that framework, the three phases of effective peer observation. This provides you with a strong, coherent structure you can use to underpin any project you run. In Part 7, we turn our attention to the idea of using peer observation to target a whole-school issue. Then, in Part 8, we explore how peer observation can work with multiple observers. Finally, in Part 9, we conclude the course by examining how you can consolidate the benefits of peer observation, maximising the impact you can have on teaching and learning in your school.
